Lovett Lake Office Building

This low-rise commercial office tower in Halifax houses a radio station and room for new commercial tenants.

We provided a building automation system that controls the building’s air-handling units (AHU) and boilers via a BACnet connection. We also added CO2 sensors to improve AHU performance.

Modern Niagara Building Controls’ Toronto office teamed with a local controls contractor in Halifax to complete this project. Modern Niagara provided the design, consulting, and Distech Controls system hardware, while the local contractor completed the installation and wiring. With much of the configuration and programming work completed remotely over the Internet, we reduced the costs of physical site visits.
