Modern Niagara Acquires Electrical Companies, Expands into Vancouver

Modern Niagara has acquired two Electrical contracting companies and opened a Vancouver office in pursuit of its goal to provide integrated mechanical, electrical, building controls, and building services in major markets across Canada.

The acquisition of Industrial Electrical Contractors Limited in Toronto, Belleville, Kingston, and Brockville; and the acquisition of Laser Electric in Ottawa, expands Modern’s electrical contracting capabilities in Ontario. Modern’s Electrical line of business is overseen by Kenan Huskovic.

Meanwhile, senior Modern executive, Yves Perron, now operates out of Vancouver, B.C. and oversees the acquisition and integration of Keith Plumbing & Heating Co. Ltd., supporting the company’s projects on the West Coast of Canada.
