Colchester East Hants Regional Hospital

Replacement Facility

Completed in the Summer of 2012, the ​Colchester East Hants Health Authority Regional Hospital Replacement Facility is a 124-bed hospital, emergency room, and operating rooms serving Central and Western Nova Scotia, and the most modern hospital in the province.

We provided all mechanical services to the project, including ventilation, plumbing, medical gas, heating, and pneumatic tubing.

We introduced a new drafting system for the coordination of all mechanical and electrical services. Our design department introduced a pre-fabrication piping drawing system and shipped pre-fabricated pipe to the job site. This assisted in meeting a tight work schedule and lessening the work force needed on site.​

The building has achieved LEED certification for New Construction and Major Renovations.
