Bell Lightbox

​​Home of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), we built all mechanical systems for this complex multi-use urban structure.

The Bell Lightbox project includes spaces for retail, commercial office space, theatre space, residences, and an archival film storage facility.

We designed mechanical systems for the film storage area that rival the performance of the best film archives in the world. This project demonstrated the full capability of our people and systems.  The complexity of the mechanical systems combined with the lack of laydown space on site, a tight schedule, and the requirement for a total building information modeling (BIM) solution made this one of the world’s most demanding mechanical projects.​
