H.M. Weir Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade

The H.M. Weir Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Saskatoon is being upgraded to recover phosphorus and nitrogen from treated wastewater streams and transform them into a highly pure, slow-release fertilizer.

Modern Niagara is providing the process piping for this project, which is taking place within the existing treatment plant. Our experience working in wastewater treatment facilities is paramount as we plan and manage tie-ins to existing operational process piping.

Strong project management is also paramount, as construction must be scheduled around plant operations and planned shut-downs.
