Anderson Garage Upgrades

We provided a variety of new systems and upgraded the service area new compressed air and fire protection systems at the City of Calgary’s LRT system Anderson Station Garage.

ATCO Commercial Centre

Modern is installing all HVAC and plumbing systems for this new, 230,000 sq. ft. commercial complex.

Bloomberg Office

We provided all mechanical elements for this new 2nd floor office space, including heat pumps, kitchen facilities, and an air conditioning system for Bloomberg’s mission-critical computer server operations in Calgary.

Calgary Cancer Centre

Modern Niagara is the mechanical contractor for the new Calgary Cancer Centre. The project will include all sheet metal, mechanical systems and services.

Canalta Centre

Modern Niagara provided the plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and HVAC controls for the Canalta Centre – new home to the WHL Tigers and winner of the 2015 Alberta Construction Magazine People’s Choice Award.

Capri Pump Station Upgrade

Modern Niagara provided all of the mechanical services for and upgrade to the existing Capri Pump Station in Calgary’s Northwest.

Century Downs Racetrack and Casino

We provided all mechanical construction services for this new casino just outside of Calgary.

Crestmont Pump Station

Eighth Avenue Place

A mixed-use development, this is the first high-rise office building in Canada to be pre-certified in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Core and Shell (LEED-CS) construction standard.

Hudson’s Bay Company HVAC Upgrade

We took part in a six-month mechanical upgrade that allows Hudson’s Bay Company to continue its 100-year-plus legacy in downtown Calgary.

Jasper Park Lodge Upgrade

We provided all mechanical elements for this new commercial office space, including heat pumps, kitchenettes, an HVAC distribution system, and computer lab air conditioning system.

NAIT Heavy Equipment Campus

We are the mechanical contractor on a project to convert a 9,000 sq.ft. aircraft hangar into shops and classrooms for NAIT’s Heavy Equipment Technician program in Edmonton.
